Convert to Image dialog box

This dialog box lets you convert objects, including text, to bitmap images.

Resolution

Set the resolution for the image, in dpi (dots per inch).

Colors

Set the color type for the converted image.

Anti-Alias

Select the check box to use anti-aliasing for the converted image.

Transparent

Select the check box to use transparency for blank areas.

Image Properties

This area shows what the resulting bitmap's file size, width, and height will be. To change these, adjust the Resolution and/or Colors settings.

Tip: If you are creating a bitmap image for display purposes only, use a resolution of 72 or 96 pixels per inch. If you are creating a bitmap image for printing, use a higher resolution, probably one equal to the resolution of your printer.
